What's the best way to leash train your dog?
Jenny tends to pull when walking on a leash. Any good recommendations for a good harness? Thank you.
Is a Martingale collar safe for walking a 12 year old Yorkie with a sensitive trachea?
What harness is the best and most comfortable for my dog. It would also have to work with a tie out stake. The one i have she just pulls right out of it. I think it might be a little big but the next size down is to small. It is the vest kind. Maybe thats the problem. Could you help me please. I would appreciate it. Thanks so much.
My pup heels really good on the walks. Whenever she sees a dog, person, car, anything that moves, she goes crazy, she doesn't care that her collar is choking her when she pulls with all her strength, she even barks like madman. Yes she is trained, no snack distraction doesn't help. She forgets about me completely at that point. I know she's young and full of excitement but I'm quite a small person and it's really hard to hold her. Would front clip harness help to hold her? Can't afford trainer.
Our puppy does not understand the leash and when we hook it to her collar she flips around and acts crazy. We want her to get used to it but she is going to hurt herself. We want to get her a harness but what is the best type of harness for a puppy? Some have soft material versus some made out of thinner collar materials. Which is better?
We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. What do you recommend as far as a harness or collar that will help control his pulling and lunging so that we can enjoy our walks with him more? He’s about 60 lbs, by the way.
Whats the best flea collar money can buy for 10lb dogs
how do I stop my dog from pulling on and chewing his leach?
Can you recommend a good, supportive harness for a 3 legged dog? My 14 year old border collie lost her back left leg after being hit by a truck. She still has a lot of energy and loves to go for walks but she gets tired easily. Do they have harnesses with handles to help hold her up?
My 4 month old golden is very unskilled at walking. He weaves side to side behind.me making me constantly switch hands behind my back. He also whines to be picked up and keeps bumping his nose on theback of my legs. Sometimes he will walk ahead and pull so hard he wheezes violently and almost vomits. What works best a prong collar or s leader leesh on the snout
Today I just purchased a harness and leash for Molly and I was wondering how could I train Molly to get used to the leash and walk on it properly? Any tips or tricks? (Molly's a Yorkshire who's 8 months old)
