This tree replaces the carpeted tree that has become ugly. DONE w/ carpeted trees! This cat tree is better-looking than the modern wooden ones (w/ tiny scratch pads) that I'm seeing in my search. A little difficult for my senior cat to jump to the next level, but hoping she'll take to it. Kitty started using built-in scratch posts immediately, but still getting used to the bowl bed in the middle. This a welcome improvement for my living room with its clean and simple look. Price was right on sale.

My cat loved the tree. We had it by the window and she loved sitting on , watching the birds. It is a perfect height. I loved the material because It’s easier to clean than carpet, and I love the sisal rope scratching posts. However, after just 5 months, the top has become very unstable. The bolts have splintered the wood and it can not be tightened down. I only have 1 cat. When we got the cat tree, my cat only weighed 4lbs. Now she only weighs 7 1/2 lbs. I am so disappointed in the quality of product. Initially, it felt very sturdy and with such a small, lightweight cat, I thought it would last for years. Unfortunately, after a few months, this have become a very expensive safety hazard.
