Fill litter box with 3 to 4 inches of Ever Clean litter. Scoop out clumps and solids daily and dispose of them in the garbage. Add more Ever Clean litter as needed.

I've had this litter on repeat monthly delivery for years now. LOVED this litter - UNTIL about 3-4 months ago. The company seems to have changed the formula for the litter or something. Now, it is absolutely horrible. I stopped by the delivery. The litter by itself has an extremely pungent odor just out of the box and is super dusty. After my cat uses it, my cat's fur smells like the litter for at least 2 hours, if not more. To add insult to injury, the litter does not mask poop smells anymore. If anything, I feel like it almost accentuates the poop smells. I do not recommend this little anymore.

I have 2 cats at this time and I have tried MANY cat litter’s over the years, but when I started using Everclean nothing else compared. I like unscented but have used the scented as well. Unlike other scented litters the scent was quite light and didn’t gather at the back of my throat. The cats love it, and the dust is pretty minimal. It is also excellent at odor control.

This product used to be excellent for clumping and odor. The quality has significantly declined with my last two autoship orders and is terrible now! It no longer clumps and does not eliminate odors. I will definitely be switching to a different product! DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Best litter in the market for multicat homes

I've been using this litter for two years and it's amazing. I've tried newspaper pellets, pellets, and silica-based, and this by far is the best. My cats don't have any problem with it. It does have a little leftover scent (almost like soap?) when it's new from the things it has to neutralize the odor. However, it doesn't have odor and being unscented is the healthiest for our cats so their litter boxes can continue being important pheromone and territorial markers without bothering human noses. There is zero urine smell which has allowed us to have a litter box even in our living room. Guests are surprised there's a litter box there, since there are no clues except, well, seeing the thing. It is a bit dusty and it is like traditional clay litter when you pour it, and it does track a little but not as much as silica based. Overall, it's the best "traditional" litter in the market in my opinion.

TOO Dusty! TOO Expensive!

VERY DUSTY!!! I am trying to integrate this with Dr Elseys Precious Unscented litter for my cat who had trauma to his urethra (by a vet who tried to unblock him) so thinking a different litter might be good. I used this almost exclusively for years but stopped when the cost became almost prohibitive (which it totally is). Every time I scoop I get a big cloud of dust in my face and every day I've wiped dust down from my appliances and other vertical structures in the room.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Can it be used in a litter robot 3? Are the clay granules or particles on the larger size, or are they smaller like many fine textured litters?

      yes you can use it with litter robot 3. However, it doesn't clump well so it always gets stuck to the globe

      When it was first created you could flush it if your city allowed, but if someone used too much tp previously it would cement and  mess up the plumbing. I think they changed the formula. It used to look lux.

      There is some small amount of dust that is there, yes. But it is by far the best litter I have ever used in terms of containing smell, clumping, and not smelling itself. I have used some litters that themselves smelled so bad I didn’t know how it would hold back the smell of what it was meant to. And some that say they are for multiple pets but they aren’t. I live in a very small apartment and have multiple pets. Ever Clean helps me keep the place smelling like there aren’t a heard of flatulent warthogs living with me and the cats like it.
