Questions
We have a 2-year old Labrador Retriever who is moderately active. He loves to run and play. He's been eating Eukanuba Lab specific dry food for his life. They are not making it anymore. What is the most comparable replacement?
- The best thing is if you kept a bag, to look at the ingredients on the bag. Then compare those ingredients to others. I use the Large Breed Adult for my lab that is training to be a service dog. It's the food I'm required to use. I actually don't like it because CORN is the 2nd ingredient and it can be difficult to digest. I usually have to take the puppies off of it (the puppy food also has corn as 2nd ingredient) & get them back on it before I turn them in for advanced training. I prefer using foods that have named meat and or named meat meals as the 1st and 2nd ingredients at minimum, corn only if it's at least 6 ingredients down on the list. I don't use Eukanuba for my 'keeper' dog, because they use too much corn which is a cheap filler.

I'm trying for first time. It's on my vet list. Golden and doodle on heavy side. What is recommended portions. 4 and 4 years old
- Our goldens get 1 cup in the morning and 1 at night. They aren’t over weight for their frame. One is 90lbs(Male) and the other is 70lbs (female)
