Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds. This is according to the Vet. We feed them Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight and Fresh Pet. Dog 1 gets 15 grams of each, Dog 2 gets 40 grams dry and 25 wet. Both are fed 2 time a day. The dogs willnot walk or any type of actual exercise.
What is the correct food portion for my dog ? He was 95lbs in November and my vet suggested he lose 5-8 lbs & he’s now 92 lbs because I have him less food and we exercise more but I want to make sure I’m not starving him.
