Does what it is supposed to do

Lola is my dog

My dog has sensitive skin. And she has allergy skin. She is always itchy. This shampoo calms her skin and keeps her comfortable. I just wish it had a less medicinal smell. But it really does the trick!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have been using this product on my dog that has had skin allergies. Along with this shampoo and a certain brand of dog food, he currently has no skin problems or itching.

My dog often gets hotspots and I got this thinking it would at most keep him itch free for a few hours but he hasn't been frantically scratching at all! My boy can finally sleep at night (And I can too).

I bout this for my dog today. Here’s a backstory of the problem. So my dog had his last bath earlier this month, he was itching and scratching and even flaking! And had a kind of fungal smell to him. I’m not sure. I examined his skin didn’t see any bumps or anything but he was CONSTANTLY scratching. So I read reviews on this product before buying Let me tell you, he hasn’t scratched once and it’s been 2 hours since his bath. Previously when we gave him a bath he scratched within 20 minutes. So this is a huuuuge improvement. I would recommend this product. Give it a try and watch them. If it doesn’t get better then def take them to the vet. But I’m so glad we tried this out now he’s comfy and and a one happy dog!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can this be safely used on cats? I've used a tea oil shampoo years ago on my pup and it was a godsend. After numerous vet visits, healed her and all her fur grew back. My cat is going through the same thing now but I'm afraid to use tea tree oil on him.

  1. Thank you for your question. This product is intended for use on dogs, not cats. You may wish to look at Cat Espree Products.

is there a conditioner?

  1. Yes, Espree carries the Espree Tea Tree & Aloe Conditioner. For best results use with Espree Tea Tree & Aloe Shampoo and Espree Tea Tree & Aloe Spray.

Is the tea tree oil in this product safe for dogs? I have seen that *tea tree essential oil* can be toxic at full strength, and wondered if precautions were taken to dilute the tea tree oil to a safe level for dogs for topical use. Thanks!

  1. Great question. When the Tea Tree Shampoo is diluted it is a perfect level to use. We use a percentage that is great for skin issues without causing any problems with your dogs.

Good morning, I have rescued a puppy 8 month old with SEBORRHEA issue very flaky and very smelly... Would  the actives ingredients of Espree shampoo work in this case ?  (i'm using a phytosphingosine Hcl1% with no result so far ..) thanks

"Coconut Based Cleansers (plant derived) are in the ingredients for this shampoo. Is it Cocamide MEA?

    1. Hi yogamax, The product does not contain Cocamide MEA. Thanks
