I'm trying to find a good shampoo for my dog. I would like to make my own if possible. My dog itches alot. He has a wirery coat. His hair is like Toto from the Wizard of Oz. I saw a recipe of oatmeal, baking soda and water. Would that be safe for my dog? I was not sure about this recipe, because someone had said baking soda can cause kidney issues in dogs. Is that true? Any suggestions on any other homemade shampoos?
What other than oatmeal shampoo is good for itching puppy's?
1 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant oats) sprigs of rosemary 1/3 cup baking soda I saw this recipe online for making dog shampoo. Will a shampoo made from these ingredients be effective against ticks and fleas? Also is there anything else we can use to make it effective against tick and fleas? And can rosemary be replaced by something else like coconut oil?
My dog keeps scratching! I’ve bathe her in this oatmeal sensitive skin dog soap and she’s still scratching, her skin is red! What do I do? I don’t have money for the vet
My pug is very itchy, red and irritated. I was told to bath her in an oatmeal and aloe shampoo, but that is already what I use on her. Is there an additive i can put in the bath to soothe her? I’ll be getting an allergy test done on her ASAP.
I planned on getting an oatmeal and aloe shampoo for Precious. Would that be good or is there a better shampoo I can get for her breed?
I use nature's miracle eucalyptus spearmint shampoo for my GSD Some how they discontinued this shampoo. which one you recommend please note he hates sweet smell?
Hey, We recently purchased Sergeant Oatmeal puppy flea shampoo. I followed the guidelines on the bottle and rinsed the shampoo off. My dog started acting a bit weird, rubbing head into our pillows etc. I googled the brand and came across a lot of bad reviews saying their pets had problems after using this brand. He seems to be acting normal now but I thought Id ask just encase
What is the best shampoo for a Lab that skin is flaking?
Is hylyt shampoo good for a dog with atopic dermatitis
My dog is being treated for a staff infection and is on medication. I have been putting plain yogurt in his food to build up the natural bacteria to help him because of the itching caused by the infection. I was told an oatmeal bath is the best thing for him when he gets a bath from his groomer. Is that true and what else can I do naturally to help with his hair growing back because of some of the patches. He's always had a beautiful coat and skin so this concerns me. Best shampoo?
Is there a good natural way to help with dog dandruff?
