How do I get a kitten to use a cat litter box
Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.

Lately, the cat has been pooping outside of the litter box (which is a rarity, he always has went in the box in the past). The stool also seems to have blood in it, although it isn't liquid in the stool, just dark red, almost brown on it.
