This has tea tree in it, which I now know is toxic to dogs…this gave my pitbull hives on top of his already itchy skin. Poor guy! Don’t recommend. The wipes are good, instead. Just oatmeal and aloe and stuff.

It helps some. My dog and I do not like the smell of tea tree oil. The smell fades after a couple of hours, so we tolerate it.

I love earthbath products but this one caused my dog to have a seizure. I don’t think it’s the product necessarily but the strong tea tree sent sent him into a frenzy and then a seizure. I wouldn’t say don’t use this if you have a dog that has seizures just be cautious.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Isn’t tea-tree oil toxic to dogs? I love the aloe & oatmeal shampoo by this brand so I was thinking about trying this but it has tea tree oil. Is it dog safe?

  1. Tea tree oil can be harmful to pets if it's used in full concentration or ingested in large quantities. We use less than 1% of tea tree oil in our shampoo, which is then diluted to an even smaller percentage as you're washing your pet. When used properly, tea tree oil is beneficial to your pet’s skin and coat and safe to use. - your friends at earthbath
