The Dwarf Spotted Rasbora will make an awesome schooling fish. Their unique color pattern is bound to impress. This little guy will thrive in aquariums with plants and driftwood, which will help simulate their natural habitat. Their natural habitat typically has slower water flow. They prefer very clean water and lower pH to thrive and will display optimal coloration and health in a planted aquarium with soft substrate. The Dwarf Spotted has very small mouths and will need pellet and flake foods small enough. They are a smaller, non-boisterous fish, so they should be paired with other peaceful fish that make them feel safe and do not compete for food. They can be kept with larger cichlids with small mouths such as discus. Consider a group of seven of these fish to be an absolute minimum as far as stocking goes.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

And I'm not very sure on the way on how to care for this fella very well yet. I am talking to a breeder about the little one. And it's to young to know gender too. Please help me learn what it needs.
I have a female betta wh seems quite passive, she is in a 3 gal tank and I wanted to add a tank mate since I am still new with fish and I read that african dwarf frogs are good starting pets, would I be able to keep the frog in the same tank without any trouble and would they be a good starting amphibian?

I have 3 Fancy Goldfish; Spot, Zedar and Monty. Monty has 2 white lumps on his head was swimming before but is lying inside the ship all the time. Spot is all white with black and orange spots it was spastic swimming but still eating. Then got swim bladder but still eating. Then started staying in the ship, now just lying on the tank floor. Spot was showing signs before Monty. Zedar seems to be fine but occasionally taking large gulps at the top of the tank and while in the water. What is this?
