While I love the color and names of my two dogs on it, I HATE that rubberized backing!!! If I had known it had that on the reverse side I wouldn’t have purchased this!!!! A different backing to keep it dry with water bowl spills would’ve been better. This item is fairly thin due to that also.

While I looked very the colors and personalization of pets names. I DON’T like the bottom. I’ve had this type of bottom on pet mat and this will eventually, from water spillage wear through and then it turns moldy. Best to machine wash, but air dry.

I bought this originally to add some color and decoration to the dog bowl area of my kitchen. It looks great with his brown dog bowls. Not to mention it catches most of his mess and keeps his bowls in place. I've thrown this in the washer a couple times and it is still in great condition. I even bought a matching one for the puppy.
