Big healthy Koi

Over the years the ingredients has changed several times but the protein level has remained unchanged and in my mind that is what fish need .I also use the super food for the same reason fish love it. This food used to come in 6 gallon buckets with resealable tops, about 50 percent of the 20 pound bags I get are open either from packing or shipping. I try to keep about 20 Koi in my 4000 gallon pond and 6 of them are over 36 inches long P S go back to the buckets

No, I do not recommend this product.

Best quality koi food for the price! I have used all of the Dr's F and S food for 25 years and my koi love it! They grow fast and have beautiful color. I can't order it direct anymore so I'm so glad that Petco carries it! I just wish they'd keep it in stock. I hate seeing that my pre order "out of stock".

Yes, I recommend this product.

Decided to use the Spring and Fall Koi pellets for the first time. My Koi are used to eating the stick type food and didn’t take to the pellets right away. After a day or two, they are now used to them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can I continue to feed the Spring/Fall food through warmer weather? I have a lot of food I need to use up. My pond is shaded and fed with well water so it stays pretty constant at 74F.

  1. You shouldn't feed the koi spring/fall food in the summer as the super or summer foods have other nutrients the koi need during the summer months. Pack up what you have for next spring.

where is this made?

  1. In the USA

what size is the pellet

    what size are these?

    1. About 3/16" diameter (4-5 mm)

I made a circle of black tubing & put in my pond to put food in at feeding time.

    1. We don't use any type of feeder. We enjoy them coming over to us and eating the food near us. We have a large rock they will swim over to and eat a little at a time as we feed them. They even try to get up on the rock to get a piece that floats over the rock.
