Best Kitty Litter

Wayne WS

This kitty litter is awesome. I buy this for me and not for our cats. I’m typically barefoot in the house and this litter doesn’t have the sharp edges when you step on it. I’ve informed friends with cats about this product and they now buy it too. Don’t understand why’s it’s so hard to find in stores. I usually have to order this, but it is definitely worth it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Box in bad shape.

When our boxes came one was in bad shape. It was not taped up and it looked like it might have gotten wet because some of cardboard was wavy? Not sure if it will have any affect? Not a good first impression.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good litter, good service

Switched to Dr Elsey’s Sensitive Paws litter due to dermatitis-like issues on my older cat’s paws. The finer grain and their “formulation” does seem to help. The downside is this is not often stocked in stores so wind up often having to order. Petco did a good job of packing this batch—3 boxes nice and tight in the box so they don’t knock about and get damaged, and it met the minimum spend for free shipping. (Neither did I get from my last order with their PetS* competitor.) Petco is my go-to going forward!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Spend a little more for tidy cats comfort

Spend a little extra for tidy cat comfort. This creates a huge dust cloud and the clumps break apart if you graze them with the scoop looking for them. The grains are smaller so cat will use but will NEVER buy this again

The best for declawed cats tender paws

I have a rescue cat who is all-four paws declawed. Declawed cats often have extra sensitive feet and therefore can develope litter box issues. I have used Dr. Elseys Paw Senstive litter from the start when I saw him stepping very slowly and gingerly in regular cat litter. Behavior was very different with the change. In almost 3 years, he has never gone outside the litterbox. I am a happy cat owner. This litter is unscented, but there is no litter box odor unless you are right over it scooping. Also, I have found I hardly ever have to replace the litter. I just keep adding to it as it is consumed in the clumps. Highly recommended!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Problem solved! This litter works

This litter was just what our kitty needed. She wasn’t using the litter box, so I did some research and thought this might work. This did the trick, turns out our Lilo has sensitive paws. She is back to using the box.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome cat litter

Awesome cat litter, seriously I only wish there were a better litter scoop for granulated cat litter; the scoops usually don’t help pick up the little pieces left behind but that’s not the cat litters fault.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have an asthmatic cat. I know this says unscented but is there any scent at all to this litter?

  1. There is absolutely no scent at all. The dust is another story though.

Why isn't the paw sensitive litter available in 40# bags as all the other litters are.

  1. I'm not really sure, but the 20lb is easier to handle, since it's in box form.
