Be sure to test your wire layout above ground before permanent installation begins. Bury the fence wire after you have tested the system and are sure it is working properly. Do not nick or scrape the fence wire during installation.
Before you install your E-Fence 3500 wire, contact the utility company to mark the utility lines on your property before you begin digging.

How deep do you have to bury the wire
- Hi Janet 53, The wire should be buried approximately 4-6 inches into the ground, or deep enough to protect it from being damaged by any machinery or dug up by your dog. The wire does not have to be buried in order to work. Thanks.

I want to fence in about an acre of land for two larger dogs that are 80 and 75 lbs and they are only 18 months old how much would I need to get to cover this area?

I want to isolate flower beds to keep the puppy out. There is about 10 feet of patio between the two beds. Would I need two systems.
