Is this safe to give a 4 month old puppy?
- Though our wet food formulas were not specifically designed for puppies, all are suitable for feeding…just not as the only part of the diet. Puppies need a lot of calories, so as long as a puppy is getting enough good calories, our foods can be used daily as part of the diet along with puppy specific food.

How much do you feed a 10 pound dog?
- Figuring out how much to feed comes down to trial and error, but it is of course great to have a starting point. There is a formula out there for Resting Metabolic Rate which measures how much a dog should eat just to survive. RMR = 70 + (weight in kg x 30) . . . for example, a 10 lb. adult, that is around 206 calories per day. Then there are "multipliers": Maintenance 1.6 Weight Loss 1 Weight Gain 1.7 Active 2 Highly Active 3 Working Dog 6 At 10 lbs., it will depend on the formula as how much to feed if our cans are fed alone. As our foods are high quality meat focused, it is often the case that not this much needs to be fed.
