Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. I have a pitbull/bulldog mix that stays outside who is allergic to cedar bedding and pine is there a hypoallergenic bedding for outside animals?
My mixed black lab has a small "wound" (about 1.5" long). He licks it often and sometimes tries to chew at it a bit. He's fixed. He is about 90 lbs. and about 3' long from snout to the base of his tail. We kennel him into a large crate (42"L x 27"H x 27"D). There doesn't seem to be anything in the crate that could cause this type of irritation/wound. We walk him frequently outside (at LEAST 6 times a day) and sometimes tie him up outside while we're playing or working (he's never outside alone).

Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. What solutions are available for dog travel anxiety
I just purchased a soft travel crate for Rogue as we are traveling to my new place of work in a few weeks. He does really well in his regular crate since he is crate trained. However, in the soft crate, he scratches it a lot for about 2 min and then settles in. How do I stop the initial scratching so he is comfortable and doesn’t tear it up?
Oakley is old English bulldog. He has never had any issues he is 2 years old .. we recently moved .. and he goes outside in our backyard but does not stay out there because he is not an outside dog. Well he has rough dry patches it feels like all over his back, but he is scratching them like crazy and maybe even biting at himself to the point where it looks like they're raw spots. I've attached a picture that I took as good as I could. Not sure what to get or what to do.
