We're pretty sure our male German Shepherd has a hygroma on his left elbow (We have laminate flooring). This site doesn't recommend draining it. We are enroute to purchase a dog bed now.
Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. My mixed black lab has a small "wound" (about 1.5" long). He licks it often and sometimes tries to chew at it a bit. He's fixed. He is about 90 lbs. and about 3' long from snout to the base of his tail. We kennel him into a large crate (42"L x 27"H x 27"D). There doesn't seem to be anything in the crate that could cause this type of irritation/wound. We walk him frequently outside (at LEAST 6 times a day) and sometimes tie him up outside while we're playing or working (he's never outside alone).
My dog ripped two medium sized holes in his self cooling mat (brand is “unleashed”) and I’m sure he digested some of the gel, exactly how much I do not know. They advertise that it is nontoxic, but idk if I should be worried or not?

Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. I just purchased a soft travel crate for Rogue as we are traveling to my new place of work in a few weeks. He does really well in his regular crate since he is crate trained.
