I just purchased 45 of the extra large and just installed them today. Only time will tell if they will work and do the job.

What guage are the barriers?
- All units are made with 4 gauge galvanized wire. Right at 1/4" thickness.

Armadillos need 15-18 inch depth of barrier to stop them from digging under. Your large product has 15 inch spikes with a less than 1.5 inch space near the top. Therefore, once installed and attached to an existing fence it won't it be too short?
- Thanks for your question! We work with numerous pest control companies and they use this exact model for protection against opossums, skunks, and armadillos with great success! They come in contact with the unit underground and move to another spot with no resistance.

Received reply on buying additional X-Large Big Defence animal barrier. However there seems not to a way where I can find the additional 2 and 5 packs, only the 15 pack through Petco. Used search bar but goes back to the 15 pack. Any help on this?

I assume a 15 count means that there are 15 sections in an order that costs approximately $200 for the extra large? So if I need 24 sections I would need to order 2 packages and receive 30. Correct? Can additional sections be ordered separately instead?
- Thanks Duke, you are correct a 15 count means there are 15 panels in that particular package. We do offer a 5 pack and a 2 pack in that model as well. Unfortunately we don't offer individual sections, but for 24 panels you can do a 15 pack, a 5 pack and 2 of the 2 packs. Thanks again.

Do you have to "Call Before You Dig" before installing this fence?
- I confess that I did not because I was only inserting about 4” into the ground.

Am I correct in thinking that this cannot be used in rocky ground?
- The ground surface has to be soft enough for the stainless steel spikes to push down in it. We had to work around the concrete at the base of our fenceposts.

How do you stop them from being stolen?
- Once they are in the ground you can't remove them. I wanted to reposition mine and couldn't I was unsure where to put one because my dog had started a hole and it was also under the gate and I needed the gate to be functional

Where does the 15 in start from. Is 15in inground with top out of or is it 15in top to bottom?
- The total length of the unit is 15 inches, the 2 top lateral lines are 3 inches apart and from the 2nd lateral line to the bottom is 12 inches.
