Great Food

My dog loves this. It gives him a very shiny coat and his black coat looks beautiful in the sunshine. People think he is still a puppy but he is 6 years old.

Great food for dogs!

I have been buying Salmon and sweet potato for about a year now, and my dogs just love it. My lab has less gas and his coat just shimmers. I also have 4 small senior dogs that are doing very well on it. The bite size pieces are good for both size dogs. I am very pleased. Highly recommend!

Pur chocolate lab is 4 yes old and we've had him since he was 9 months. We have always fed Diamond Naturals, but switched him to the salmon and potato variety a bout a year ago to help with some skin issues. He loves it and is doing well.

My dogs hate it they won’t touch it! And it did nothing to help there skin or coat they still itch and shed a lot I got it because there was so many good reviews for it but I won’t buy again. I guess you can’t go off of reviews. I will have to keep searching for a good brand.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello, we’re sorry to hear your pet did not enjoy Diamond Naturals Skin &amp; Coat Formula. Skin allergies can be caused by a variety of factors including food and other environmental triggers and can be different in every dog. Many dogs with symptoms of allergies do well on our formulas. We would recommend that you work with your veterinarian to determine what may be causing your dog&#39;s itchy skin and shedding so that you can find the right food. If you’re interested in trying a different formula and/or receiving a personalized formula recommendation, please contact us by visiting https://dpf.pet/contact-us. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/diamondpet.png" alt="diamondpet" title="diamondpet" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" /> <!--[if ReviewResponse]><![endif]-->

Best food for puppies through adults!

Mountaindrums66

I have used Diamond Naturals for many years. I recently struggled financially and switched brands thinking I was saving money. However, my dogs had looser stools, pooped more often and my Lab became thin and lost skin and coat quality. Within a week of switching back, my dogs are showing amazing vitality, pooping less, my puppies are calmer and less ravenous. Thank you for an excellent product. I will not switch again!

Not a bad dog food for a good price.

I bought the blue diamond dog food at the recommendation of a couple good friends. My dog seems ti like it, but still really prefers her old food, it's just too expensive to feed her whike I'm off work for surgery and recovery. I wish it came in smaller bag sizes as with waiting to have my hip replacement done and for a few weeks afterwards it's going to be hard for me to manipulate and move the bag of food as I have to store it inside a bin in it's bag or the other animals get it.

Has made my Saint so happy.

I started my Saint Bernard puppy off on Purina one large puppy food and he had hives all over him. He scratched and chewed. I switched to Diamond natural lamb and he still had bumps and chewed after a couple months, but they weren't as bad. I changed him over to Diamond natural Skin and Coat and all his bumps went away after a few weeks and he feels so much better. He stopped scratching and chewing. I have recommended this to others with the same problem. He's gained a lot of weight as well on it. He's really doing well.

Does this have hydrolized protein?

  1. Hello – The salmon in our Diamond Naturals Skin and Coat All Life Stages Dog Salmon and Potato Formula is not hydrolyzed. The remaining ingredients in this formula are classified as grain-free.

Hi, How big is the kibble?  I have 8 and 10 pound dogs and don’t know if kibble is too big.
