The chicken version is good for my special stomach needs older dog, whom always had since puppy stomach issues husky/ Jindo / Shiba, the beef not recommended. We used to buy and still do the hydrolyzed green bag for sensitive skin for a while to mix with fresh chicken as those kinds of dogs do not just survive on dried up food pebbles, they love their chicken and nothing really else, once in a while beef (no pork, makes them someway sick). Diamond Care Sensitive Skin is the only broken-down protein bag. If I give anything with grains - he would through up, it would not settle well, keep making him drink water, stomach making water noises, he would panth heavily, need to go outside back and forth for a quick pee, and eggs on the other hand from R/N (renal) food that I need for kidneys are the not settling good protein to digest for him, most of times he also throughs up those heavy proteins . This grain free chicken with sweet potatoes bag has pea, lentils, flaxseed, chicory root for digestion that is a best combo, and all other ingredients that are good or even better and none that i would say no except salt, choline chloride which besides its necessity for proper bosy functioning , may have other side effects in stomach and kidneys needs dogs. If you are looking for hydrolyzed and also have some kidney issues which requires - less protein + more grains = vomits for my dog on grains or yolk from boild eggs (fried unacceptable), try chicken no grains sweet potatoes, no beef, which is too heavy and does not provide the same effect with other ingredients.

1st of all , because of Diamond sending us a free bag of choice coupon we were able to try a different flavor than the Salmon and potatoes mix. All 3 of my dogs are Diamond dogs from puppies to young dogs to young adult dogs. Theyre super picky , and this mix of cage free chicken and sweet potato has been a hit ! We have one nibble eater , 1 vacuum inhaler eater , and a regular eater. All 3 ate their food and we're on day 14 breakfast and dinner still finishing their bowls. We have been feeding this to Oscar since we brought him home as a puppy mill rescue and he has just blossomed and thrived on it! It is apparently delicious and must be right combo of vitamins, minerals, protein and carbs cause look at that face!
