What types of fish should I buy because I'm a beginner in this . I have a 1 feet tank . One more thing I have heard that live-bearers could be best But I want your suggestion. I got my vanilla lobster home yesterday and the first thing I noticed was that he was raising his tail sharply and almost stumbling around. I woke this morning and he was on his side. It's a 55 gallon tank and has only been established about two days but we used the instant start bacteria treatment and the rest of the tetras, bichir, parrot fish are doing ok. Any thoughts?
Hi, I bought 2 wood shrimp about a week ago and the woman from the pet store has accidentally put a fish fry in the bag with them he made the journey home and is in his own tank, however I’ve never dealt with fry before I have the food for him he seems fine but I don’t know if he will get lonely on his own and if he’s eating enough also is there any way of knowing the breed I think the shrimp were with mollys or guppy’s at the store.thanks.

Hello, I recntly purchased my first Axolotl from a traveling expo. I picked out a young albino one (lucy: pink and black eyes). This being my first pet the cheap starter kit seemed like a good idea. HOWEVER I did not know much about cycling water at the time. So my little guy is already in the tank and has been for about a week. Im really sacred hes going to die on me . I dont understand how to cycle the water with him present. But have no where eles to put him. Any advice?
Going to be bringing a few guppies home, probably all females for simplicity sake. We have the 10 gallon tank, master test kit, heater, filter, some Omega One guppy food, and the proper decorations. But I would like to know any tips on how to safely bring them home in my car. (We still have to cycle the tank, so no rush.) We will be getting them from an actual pet store, definitely no Walmart or Meijer fish as those tend to be much less healthy.
