Put the unwashed soild into the dry aquarium. Make a layer about 2 inches thick. Arrange decorative hardscapes-Rock, wood. Add Plants(Keep moist while planting) Finally carefully fill with water without disturbing the soil. Any clouding will clear within a few hours.
Do not mix with other substrates, So not use in combination with pH reducing products. Not Suitable for borrowing fish.

first of all, thanks for your advice with my african dwarf frogs! after the aquarium salt bath they are doing great and even look more vibrant now! i was wanting to know what substrate would be best in the tank. would sand be okay or would they eat that like the gravel? i have a heavily planted aquarium and need something to keep the plants in place but i dont want my frogs to eat it and have something happen to them. i find conflicting information when i research it online. thanks!

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt
