The Demasoni Cichlid is a vibrant Lake Malawi species known for its electric blue and black stripes. Reaching about 3 inches, it brings bold color and energy to African cichlid tanks. Best kept in rocky, hardscape-rich setups, Demasonis are territorial and do well in groups of 10+ or with other assertive Mbuna. A minimum 55-gallon tank with hard, alkaline water is ideal. They thrive on a spirulina-based diet with occasional blanched veggies. With the right care, Demasonis are a lively, colorful addition for hobbyists.

Hi, I've 8 cichlids (2convict, 2dolphin, 2iceberg and 2livingstonii cichlids) in a 90 liter tank. My 2 dolphin cichlids are very aggressive. They always hit the others and chase them all the time. Should I seperate them or what else can I do? Also, I was using an internal filter. But yesterday I bought an external filter and installed it (after doing a water change). Next day, my fish started to swim up and stay on top of the tank. Is it normal or did I do something wrong? What should I do?
I recently had a convict cichlid die and noticed that his blood is neo green doses anyone know why
My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
