I need to add cotton to the pillow mat for my dog bed because it’s going flat, can I use any kind of cotton or should I be careful picking one out? She doesn’t chew her beds at all, it’s just going flat. Where can I get cotton for her bed?
I bought Duke a nice new dog bed. He likes it but pees on it daily. I’m assuming to mark it as his. It has a removable waterproof cover so I can just wash it. But washing it daily isn’t always an option. Other than just washing it daily is there anything I can do?
So I have a 3 year old bully pit, he is the sweetest dog ever and he has no problems chewing anything or getting into things... except our mattress. This is the second time he’s dug a hole in a mattress we get he may do it because he sleeps with us every night and it’s instinctual but is there anyway we can get him not to do it? We don’t want to have to keep him from sleeping with us thank you!
I’m at a loss for what else to offer my dog. Because he is in his crate while I’m at work, I keep him out whenever I am home. Including when we go to bed. When we go to bed, I keep him in my bedroom. Lately he has been chewing on so many things that I have on low shelves in my bedroom but like hide away. I keep toys in the bedroom and chews, but he seems to search for things to destroy them. Are there more alternatives than keeping him in his crate at night too? I’ve tried the bitree spray too.
Now that he sleeps in bed with us like his older sisters sidon insists on trying to 'dig' the bed. When diing this in his kennel he stops once he's under the blanket. However in our bed he wont stop even when under the blankets. Advice on stopping this?
Often times when I buy my puppy a fluffy bed and or crate pad I find him digging then peeing on the object. I read online that puppies often do this to “mark their territory” similar to behaviors exhibited on walks. When my puppy has accidents in the home it is on the regular floor ... so I am wondering if he is peeing on the beds on purpose so that others know it is “his”? I want to make sure it is in fact the “marking of his territory” rather then a regression in his potty training progress.
Why does my dog rips every bed I put in her cage
Doctor Jessica. I meant products like paw protection and shampoos and probably toys that could be useful and refreshing for her during the summer months and protection from bugs and mosquitoes and such. Thanks for the help!
Our 2 month old puppy pees in my Mom's bedroom on her tbrow rugs. Why? He sleeps through the night in his bed in my room and waits to pee til I take him out, but if my Mom's bedroom door is open, he goes in there and pees on her throw rugs. I am 14 and a first time pet owner. My puppy is a boxer border collie shepherd mix. His name is Jax. Thank you.
We've just brought a 10 month old Chihuahua and as expected is a very excited soul but also doesn't want to part with any of us at bed time and will just follow us to the stair gate to the point of closing it and walking upstairs then she will just move about a bit then let out a loud bark every couple of minutes. When I put her in her dog bed I say "bed" everytime but she immediately gets up, I've tried telling her to stay but she doesn't. In the end we have to allow he to sleep in our bed :(
My dog this in his under the body
My dog has started nibbling (with his front teeth) the piping on my pillows, mattress, sofa. He has his favorite chew toys which he still uses, but he will nibble on cloth (the piping edges are what he likes best, but sometimes it's just cloth material of pillowcases, etc. And then he sometimes nibbles on people's clothing (while they are wearing it), leading to a few accidental nibbles on their skin. Any idea WHY he is doing this, and how to dissuade him from nibbling on clothes?
