We have a huge fenced in dog kennel about 30 feet from our house and our dogs go in it to use the bathroom. But when we take them out without leashes they run away. We already tried electric collers. Building a fence to the kennel is not an option. How do we do this???
I got a wooden house for the dog, i will put warm blankets on the inside, and her pillow/bed on the inside. The door is plastic three stripes. Can I leave her to sleep and stay at the balcony at night or during the day ? temperature goes down to -5 celsius
Ok so I have an issue. Its getting cold here and we are looking at some very heavy snow this year. All three of our dogs are rather thin coated. The older two refuse to potty outside if its too cold. Would sweaters help? Also the youngest is less than two pounds (tiny chihuahua mix) and even though he's not allowed outside yet we like 2 to 4 inches above our floor tend to get cold no matter what temperature we keep the house at how can I help him stay warm?
We just bought a new house and now my fully house trained dog is going to the bathroom in the house including urinating on our bed. We have adopted our daughter's dog. She is a small breed mix. She has had at least one traumatic experience in which she was taken and dropped off on a rural road. There were storms during the three days it took to find her. She is very scared during stormy weather. My dog is acting odd. Instead of going outside, doing her business and coming right back to the door, she walks off into the wood and just lays. Not far into the woods, she can see our house, but will lay in the woods for hours unless we go and get her. Then she is happy to see us and comes back with little coaxing.

is there a repellent which will not bother my cat that i can use to repel dogs who piss on our garden? i have used vinegar on the wood box around the garden and vinegar dissipates quickly. this is more important to me for next spring and summer. my cat likes to sit in the garden and dogs pee there. and i don't want our flowers killed by pee! this is a low income apartment building with a shared yard.
