We got Buddy this November. We have a big garden and are concerned that we have many hostas and day lilies. Are these toxic to dogs?
Help! We have a neighbor who otherwise is quite tolerable or even nice at times. The problem is they have 2 German shepherds that they put in an upstairs room when they leave the house with the windows a little bit open. If we or any other neighbors walk out onto their driveway or lawn or whatever the dogs really get to barking. As you know, the German shepherd bark is one of the loudest for a reason of them being protector type dogs. I'm going to try the "Quiet" command as the article suggests.
I have a pitbull/bulldog mix that stays outside who is allergic to cedar bedding and pine is there a hypoallergenic bedding for outside animals?

Tikka is an extremely friendly dog but we have found that she is getting aggressive towards strangers around our property. (In the truck or house but not in public places). Not too sure what to do about this new behaviour, it seems to be mostly towards men which is weird because there is mostly men in our home (adult children and my husband). Any ideas on how to deal with this behaviour? We had a friend come for visit, she was pretty mean towards him until I touched him, then she was fine
Is there a way to protect my GSD from sun burn? I can’t find a product that is sun screen for dogs at pet smart or pet co
I recently moved and my new area has several “neighborhood dogs” that are a huge issue (ie knocking over trash cans, pottying on my porch and yard, barking all night, destroying decorations, growling at my dog, etc.). I’m not sure what to do as animal control won’t come out where I’ve moved to. I don’t want anything to happen to the dogs, but can’t handle being terrorized by them. Their owners don’t seem bothered by their behavior despite our pleas. What can I do to deter them from my home?
My dog is very territorial of the backyard - with bordering neighbors and visitors. Is there any way to fix this?
