I originally got spring as gaurd dog but he's too freindly how can I make him agressive towards strangers there's no danger of him biting outside the property as there are high fences all around and we have signs that say be aware of the dog the only time he leaves the gates is on a leash we had a stranger pretend to try and steal a digger from our tool yard and Spring ran up wagging his tail have I socialised him to much? How can I get him to gaurd the property?
Hanna is so loving to our family however, any person that tries to enter our home, walk by our house, or come close to us on walks she gets very aggressive. Barking, growling, her hair goes up and she tries to bite. Do you have any recommendations on how to cure this bad behavior? I don’t want to keep a muzzle on her forever:( I want her to be loving to everyone like she is with us:) She is definitely a protector!
We got Buddy this November. We have a big garden and are concerned that we have many hostas and day lilies. Are these toxic to dogs?
How to recognize our pet breed?
What type of breed would you prefer that would be loving and maybe eventually my best friend?
my friend want to give me his dog do u think it is a (good quality breed) from the pictures?
Help! We have a neighbor who otherwise is quite tolerable or even nice at times. The problem is they have 2 German shepherds that they put in an upstairs room when they leave the house with the windows a little bit open. If we or any other neighbors walk out onto their driveway or lawn or whatever the dogs really get to barking. As you know, the German shepherd bark is one of the loudest for a reason of them being protector type dogs. I'm going to try the "Quiet" command as the article suggests.
My lab repeatedly chews up the dog door flaps suggestions on ending this type of behavior. I have replaced them twice would like to make this time before winter my final time.
Does CBD oil help with over protective dogs
I was wondering if you know of any types of plants that are dangerous for dogs in your experience and what the names of those are. Thanks.
