How do you treat a hot spot on a dog?
My dog has been scratching alot and I just noticed she has hot spots and shedding she is 48.5 pounds do you carry anything for her comfort and healing as shampoos and salves thanks
My pet had a hot spot, he’s not licking anymore but it turned an ugly color.
Brody woke up with this on his back area Saturday morning. I called the vet and she prescribed Gentaved Topical Spray. I wanted to confirm this is indeed a hotspot and not something else. If it is a hotspot is there anything else we can do to help it heal more quickly. Thank you!
Chico has developed a round spot on back knee that he keeps licking. All hair gone off of it and red looking. Keeps adding to the size of it because of licking. What to use on it......hydrocortisone??? May harm the dog. anything else??
Hi I have a cat that is 4 years old and has a red spot on his upper side area that is about an inch or so in length. He has had this spot for quite sometime and it sometimes has small amounts of fluids coming out and seems like it gets better once in awhile but as he licks it, it hasn’t completely healed and it’ll get worse again. I’m just wondering if it could possibly be a hot spot and if there’s any kind of ointment I could try for him that wouldn’t irritate his skin.
My golden retriever has a hot spot on his leg. Is there something I can give him at home that will help with the healing? Or do I need to take him into the vet? I currently have him wearing a cone so that he can't keep licking it but I'm not sure if only doing that will help.
I think my dog has a hotspot. Is there anything I can try at home? First picture is yesterday. 2nd is after 24hrs of gold bond.
Taffy seems to have a serious hot spot on her butt area and it has a wound. It has stopped bleeding but we are looking to confirm it and treat it to prevent possible infection and to cure the hot spot if it is one. Thanks!
Hello. My pug has wet hot spots. I cleaned it but I dont know how can I help him. What can I buy and put on his skin to help him?
What can I do to help my dogs hot spot on her neck?
Hi there. My dog has what I think is a hot spot. Is this what it is. If so what are the treatment options. Are hot spot products sold at the pet store safe to use?
