What is a safe hair gel for my dog
My dog has problems with her eyes quite regularly and I have found that using Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel whenever she has it gets rid of it within a few days. I apply it three times a day and keep her cone on to prevent her from itching it. Although this time it seems to not Ben working like it usually has in the past. So I’m worried it’s something more serious or I’ll have to get something else for her. Can’t afford to take her to vet till Monday. So hoping for answers here.
My dog ripped his nail off. Bleeding is stopped but it's broke right down to his hair and his quik is very exposed. Idon't have much antibiotics to wrap it up till tomorrow. But I have something called woun'dres - collagen hydrogel wound dressing. And another thing called iodosorb- cadexomer iodine ointment. Can i use ether for the night?Should I even wrap it?
So my dog had an anal sacculectomy 2 days ago, but his right sutures have opened a lil/bleeding, so I brought him to a dif vet today- They prescribed him Dermavet ointment 2x day (he's on Rimadyl/Clindamcin too) Well I forgot to mention he got a couple injections on his surgery day too "Ceftiofur 50 mg/ml Naxcel Injection + Antiseden 5 mg/mL Injection" I'm just wondering if I should still give him the ointment too? He's gotten diarrhea all over the area too, from some incontinence :/ Thanks
can i put hawaiin topic after sun cooling gel on my dogs gum to relieve gum inflammation
Nashville has a cut on her paw pad and we’re trying to figure out the best way to help it heal it quickly. We think it’s a cut, it’s the white curcle in the picture. We’ve been trying to leep it clean, and spray Vetericyn on it. It causes her to limp. Is there anything else we can do to help her so she’s more comfortable?
Pet had skin die off, back rt foot (after severe abscess in back rt hip threatened amputate) Vet removed dead, new skin growth underneath. This left atleast 50% of exposed flesh, the other has new skin growth. Antibiocs & cleaning w/chlorhexidine 2xs a day.(metacam 1x day for 2 day.)With cleaning and limited mobility still seems impossible to keep clean, constantly finding dirt/debris, misc stuck to raw skin. Is there a safe way to cover wound while also letting it breathe for healing purposes?
The vet gave Dahlia Synotic 8 ml and TriOtic ointment 15g. First how do you use for her feet and how safe are they because she licks her feet constantly
Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
What medication can I use that will take away the gunk my old 18 year old poodle accumulates in his eyes I’ve tried to use the clear eye medicine but it doesn’t help
My 2 year old Rottweiler suffering from gum swelling I'm attaching two prescriptions Thanks for the previous suggestions
Bella was put on Cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day until gone. She was also put on Temaril-P tablets 1 1/2 tablets twice a day until gone. She was also given a spray for the hot spot which is Betagen Topical spray 120mL twice a day until healed.
