The Male Crimson Fire Betta is a short-finned Betta variety with a primary coloration of deep red highlighted by striking shades of blue, white, purple, and black. Bettas are known for their jewel-bright colors and flowing fins that come in a wide variety of morphs. ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

My new betta is coming up with silvery spots behind gill slits and underneath mouth. His water also seems to get clear algae growth rather quickly (3days) on the surface. I would love to be able to send pictures. My first betta
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
What is wrong with my Bettas end fins?
My male Betta fish isn’t moving
Hi, my name is Emma and I have a male half moon betta fish named pucker. I’ve had him for about three weeks now and just bought him a tank about a week ago. When I bought him from petsmart they ran out of betta food so they gave me this bug bites tropical fish and he ate it but didn’t like it. But I went back and bought him his food, which colour enhances. Today I went to go feed him and noticed his colour has changed, did it change in a good way? Also does he look healthy to you?
My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
Hi my betta has red patches at the edges of his fins. Also he can not use one of his front fins to swim. He can not swim straight. What should I do?
Hi, I have a Betta fish and it is very low on energy level these days and it is losing his color.
My white halfmoon betta has.3 small red dots on his head? He may have ran into a piece of spiderwood in his tank or it might be a parasite. Is he alright?
Betta fish is spending all day at the bottom corner of his tank and barely eating. He moves quickly when he does swim and his appearance seems fine
My betta fish has been losing parts of her tail, after it turns light orange. She has also been getting small black spots. She is still as active as ever.
My betta Kiho is extremely anemic to the point were his cheeks are indenting like a persons, he has some clamped fins with red spots almost like they were rubbed raw and he’s lost most of his shimmer, almost like it was eaten away, some places it looks like he even has no scales, he’s not eating, his fins are thinned and torn in some places, his water heater broke I put him in a quarantine tank with betta fix, he’s become more active, it seems like he just lacks the muscles to swim around often
