Dosage and Administration: Credelio is given orally once a month, at the minimum dosgage of 9 mg/lb (20 mg/kg). Dosage Schedule: For dogs 25.1 to 50.0 lbs, administer one 450 mg tablet. Credelio must be adminstered with food. Treatment with Credelio can begin at any time of he year and can continue year-round without interruption.

I have been using this product for at least 2 years and it appears to be doing a great job. However, my dog hates it and I have tried everything to get the dog to take it. So far, cream cheese seems to be working but if another company has a product just as good and my dog likes it. Credelio is gone.

Hard to administer tablet

I don't have a problem with the effectiveness of the product, but I'm giving a so-so rating because of its form. I would not consider this a chewable. It's a tablet that's very difficult to administer. My Aussie will not take it, and even spits it out if I try to hide it in something else. I wish it was truly something chewable and appealing that my dog would take willingly.

Like the product but the packaging was a soft envelope. That resulted in the box being crushed and misshapen. Doesn't appear that any of the seals were broken so it is probably OK. They should have packaged it better for shipping.

Expired meds

I ordered a 6 month supply for my dog and the medication I received expired after 3 months based on the expiration on the box. I called and the representative kept telling me the prescription was good for a year even though the box expired in 3 months. The actual prescription the vet wrote is good for a year which is correct; however, the meds I received do expire in 3 months. I am upset I spent that money for 6 months and am only receiving 3 months of non expired meds.

After administrating the chewable, do the fleas die or do they jump of the dog and infest the dogs surroundings

    Based on the instructions this is a monthly RX and probably isn’t good for a current infestation. I’m sure since this q is older now you found a good method and are using this as a preventative.
