Dosage and Administration: Credelio is given orally once a month, at the minimum dosgage of 9 mg/lb (20 mg/kg). Dosage Schedule: For dogs 12.1 to 25.0 lbs, administer one 225 mg tablet. Credelio must be adminstered with food. Treatment with Credelio can begin at any time of he year and can continue year-round without interruption.

I was told this also has heartworm medication is this correct?
- It helps with the prevention of fleas, ticks and four types of worms, including heart worms. I don’t believe it can treat it though if your pet already has it.

Lioh weighs 9.2 lbs and has been prescribed nexgard 4-10lbs (6 packets or 6 months worth). I know he will be gaining weight over the next 6 months and therefore donno know if I should get him 3 packs instead of 6. What would you advice?

Hello! My puppy is 4 months old and weighs 22 lbs. I'm going to purchase his flea and tick treatment. The treatment comes in different packets. The packet for my dog is from 10.1-24. He is growing fast and they only sale the treatment in packages of 3, 6 and 12. My question is if I can give my puppy the treatment for the 24.1-60 because in 1 or 2 weeks he would be 24lbs.
Six months ago, my corgi weighed 25 lbs. I purchased a 6-month supply of Interceptor (heartworm preventative) for dogs weighing 11-25 lbs. Now that I'm ready for another refill, she weighs 27 lbs. I will order the dosage for 26-50 lbs. However, my question/concern is: what if she's weighed 27 lbs. for the last several months? If I've been giving her too-low of a dose, is it possible that she's not been protected? Should I have her tested for heartworm before her next dose?
I have a 14-mo-old mini Australian Shepherd, tested clear on MDR1 gene mutation, no known health issues. He’s taken Trifexis for 12 mos for flea/heartworm, Simparica added 3 mos ago for ticks. Meds are given with meals 1-2 wks apart. We live in an area where heartworm & ticks are a problem so I need year-round preventives. Sentinel has been suggested instead of Trifexis but my pup weighs between 24.5-25.5 lbs which is right at the dosing boundary. What’s the protocol for choosing the right dose?
