Add 5mL (1 tsp) per 50 gallons of water every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the amount of water changes performed. With frequent water changes, then add Coralife Essential Elements every 2 weeks. If not, then add weekly. Add immediately after carbon use.

Hello, I have a betta and I'm sure he has moderate fin rot. Thing is I have him in a 1.1 bowl because I broke my bigger 2.5 gal tank. Ive been doing water changes and recently bought aquarium salt, bettafix, and Tail and Body Cure from API but I'm not sure how to use it in such a small tank w/o a heater... I know its such a bad environment but its not for long. I just need my betta to last a weak till I get a decent tank. Could you please give me a suggestion. I greatly appreciate your time.

Hello i have a fish tank 45l with 11 fishes in it (Shubunkin , opaline gourami , honey gourami , trichogaster etc) . i added the fish a week ago and tested the water and it was fine.today i see that 2 of my Scalars aren't eating like everyone else , so i tested the water . Everything was fine except for Nitrite levels that was 3.0 - 5.0 ppm. I changed 25 % of the water and added Easy Life Filter Medium and after some hours i tested again the water quality and it was the same I also added salt

I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. my male betta has moderate fin rot & the people at the pet store told me to put him in a quarantine tank with aquarium salt for 7-10 days. he’s lethargic, not eating, and not moving much and im very worried. ive had him in a quarantine tank for 2 days now but pieces of his fins are still falling off. how long does the aquarium salt take to take effect? if the aquarium salt doesn’t work, what else could i try?
