Centropyge angels have forever been a favorite with hobbyists due to their smaller adult size, colorations and hardiness. The Coral Beauty Angel is one of the best recommendations for dwarf angels. These are among the least aggressive and have the easiest care of dwarf angelfish. The Coral Beauty can be housed with others of the same species as long as all of them are added at once and the aquarium is large enough. While it is one of the better bets in the Centropyge genus for reef aquariums, it can still be a risk, especially with clams. The larger the aquarium and the more often the fish are fed, the less likely you are to encounter this issue. Provide an environment with ample live rock for hiding and grazing and swimming space. The Coral Beauty has an adult size of about 4", which makes it ideal for smaller aquariums. Their body is a deep blue, which highlighted with oranges, reds and yellows throughout.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
