If your pet is unfamiliar with a nail grinder, start by getting them accustomed to seeing the product (by placing in a visible location), then gradually move to turning it on to allow them to see, sniff, and get used to the sound. Once they become familiar, begin to use the nail grinder on a few nails at a time and then gradually move to the rest of the nails. When you need to replace the grinding band on the grinder, follow these steps: 1). Loosen the screw by turning it counterclockwise, 2). Once the screw is loosened, remove the grinding band from the grinding drum, 3). Place the new grinding band on the grinding drum 4). Tighten the screw by turning it clockwise to secure the grinding band.

I've had this grinder for years, I mean YEARS. I've had this thing over 5 years now at least and abuse the heck out of it with 3 dogs. It still runs like a champ. The little sanding disk sometimes slips around a little bit but that's my only complaint and it's very minor. This thing is a beast and powers through nails big and small all the way from my 140# dog to my 40# dog. They prefer the grinder over the clippers once they are used to it and it's less painful it seems. Never makes them bleed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked it very much because my dog does not receive stress while I cut her nails, before I did it with a nail clipper but with this product it is much easier for me, her nails are short and filed, it is super easy to use this product from this campaign it is my favorite. I like to take care of my pet at home because she is nervous and this product makes her work a lot easier and she does not feel stressed
