Comfortis is a monthly chewable tablet used to kill fleas and indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations in dogs and cats. Its beef flavor is derived from pork protein and hydrolyzed soy.

Comfortis is a chewable tablet that is given orally with food for maximum effectiveness. If vomiting occurs within one hour of administration, redose with another full dose. Comfortis is preferably started one month before fleas become active and should be given monthly through the end of the flea season. In areas where fleas are common year-round, monthly treatment should continue the entire year without interruption. This medication should only be given to the pet for whom it was prescribed.

Product works great! I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get this product! Several years ago my vet always had it readily available. Now they make you jump hurdles to get it! I guess Simparica took over the market! For shame!

My cat will not eat these "chewable" tablets, even when crushed in tuna. She HATES the smell. Also, they dissolve if you attempt to force them to swallow and they are spit out. They did work well when I was able to get one forced down, but she also threw some up too.

My animals just do not like the smell of these from the start. Getting them to eat them is really hard because of the fragrance. Make them smell better. If a dog refuses them then there is something wrong. Have to hide them or show them down. Not fun.

I thought it would be a meat chew not a dissolvable pill. My animal hates the taste of it tried to spit it out. So then had to tried to put the rest of the dissolved pieces back in her mouth. Not worth the money.

Does this come in a bigger dose, my two dogs are over 50lbs and Comfortis is the only thing which works.
