Cats are creatures of habit and changes in their routine or in the environment can trigger cat stress. A stressed cat can act out by scratching-up furniture or peeing outside of the litter box. Our spray mimics a cat's natural calming pheromones that signal safety and familiarity. So, using the spray tells your cat "we like this object, let's leave it alone." The cat calming spray is ideal for targeted areas, environment shifts, and easing stress when in their travel carrier. Comfort Zone has a full line of cat calming products, including cat calming diffusers, multi cat calming diffusers, and cat pheromone collars. Cat calming sprays are available in 2 oz (great for keeping in the car!) and 4 oz.

To reduce urine marking and limit destructive scratching on objects, hold the bottle approximately 4 inches away from the prominent object(s) that is attractive to your cat. Depress the spray nozzle 5 times onto the object(s). Be sure to apply the product where your cat urine marks or areas of scratching. DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY ON CAT. Repeat this once per day at a minimum. If there are no fresh urine marks for any given day, then skip this step.

Questions
What are the ingredients in this spray? Does it contain synthetic F3 pheromone?
Would you recommend spraying this on my feet to keep my new kittens from chewing on my toes?
- No, we would not.

I read a question from 2 years ago where this Comfort Zone scratch control is safe to spray on leather furniture. I'm just double checking incase this has changed. Have new recliner. Thank you
- We recommend testing it in a small area prior to spraying a large amount since it’s alcohol-based.

Can this be used on my carpet my cat is always Scatching the stairs carpet .. I need something to help it don't wanna get her Declaw but that will be my next step????
- Yes this will help them from scratching. You also can buy covers for their nails and your vet can put them on. NEVER DE-CLAW A CAT. PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE BUT WHEN THEY DE-CLAW A CAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY CUTTING FROM THEIR NUCKLES TO THE NAIL, SO BASICALLY, THEY ARE REMOVING THEIR TOES. IT WOULD BE LIKE SOMEONE REMOVING YOUR TOES. Always look at the many options out their to help. Also a couple of scratching posts or a cat tree with many scaratching posts.

Can I spray this on doors? Or is it more suited for furniture? I'm wondering if it'll have the same effect.
- Yes, you can spray this on doors.

I'm confused - it seems like the directions are to spray it somewhere to act as a deterent to sparaying or scratching, but also spray can be used to calm cats down (that's what I need) - which would indicate to spray it where they like to hang out..?
- It works as both. You spray where you don’t want them to go but it’s a calming aid also.

- It should! We would also recommend trying one of our Calming Diffusers which helps reduce your cat's stress response behaviors like destructive scratching and urine marking.
