Hi, I'm going to move with my 8-months-old kitten in a couple of days and the trip will take over 5-6 hours. I've decided to use Beaphar products. What is it better to use to reduce the stress - the collar or the drops? And is there any product from that brand to help stranger cats get along?
Hi, I was wondering if there were vet recommended feliway sprays I can buy. They seem really pricey online and I don't want to spend money on one that end up being unreliable. My cat gets really anxious in the carrier and sometimes spoils herself and starts panting so I'm in urgent need of feliway spray. Thank you!
Hi, I bought my dog flea collars (PetArmor) and one of my dogs is relaxed with minimal itching but the other started dry heaving, refusing to eat or drink water, crying (actual crying) and vehemently itching at her neck. We removed the collar and bathed her really well and she started eating but is still dry heaving off/on, whimpering now and itching at her neck aggressively off/on.. I’m sure the fleas from my other dog are probably attacking her and I am able to get her the flea drops, is it ok
How can I get my cat more comfortable when I have visitors over? I have Feliway plugged in and I don't have loud parties, but my terrified cat spent many hours in my box spring when a friend came over recently for a short visit. This always happens.
Introducing two cats to a cat and dog household. Would the defusers for cat and dog work together if on at the same time or counteract each other?
My 5 yrs. old Calico apartment cat used to a big place in my apartment , but I`m facing an upcoming surgery & I live all alone & I can`t find anyone to ta e my cat into their hose, therefore I1ll board her in a kennel & i`ma afraid she`ll go into a separation anxiety since she is used to a big place where she can walk & jump( her bladder is narrow) , but in the kennel not much space to move sound. Do you think she would benefit from this Calming Aid treat? I don`t know how to attach her photo.
Two weeks ago I moved into a new house. My 13 year old and 4 year old female cats have adapted well. My 8 year old male, Watson, wanders the house at night yowling. I've given him calming treats, canned food, favorite toys, and used Feliway diffusers. Is there anything else I can do to ease the adjustment for him?
My 6 month chorkie was given the tick collar the whole day and night he sat in a corner on slept on sofa and winched he did not want to play as he usually does with my 4year old collie nor eat so I took it off him the following day back to normal
My pekingnese has severe allergies. Is it ok to wear his inflatable collar indefinitely it's the only thing that stops him from chewing & scratching.
Hey. I have an indoor cat and I dont know that I'm completely comfortable letting him be indoor all his life in a tiny apartment. Now, I have bought a harness and leash designed for cats but I dont know how to teach a cat to walk on a leash or even be comfortable in a bubble bag. Hes terrified of going outside. When I tool him to the vet the other day and his heart was racing. How do I get him comfortable in these? I have tried Feliway, it just doesnt seem to work. What do I do?
I tried a flea collar on my cats (one male and one female) and my female cat seemed to have a reaction of some sort. She began scratching the top of her head with her bacj claws, and actually took out two patches of hair. She is very sensitive, and has food allergies. I am unsure if the reaction was to the collar or flea bites. I immediately took the collar off both cats, figuring if only he had one one they'd attack her. How do I proceed as far as the fleas go. Treating her wound w coconut oil.
I tried to put a collar on my cat but she hated it, i woke up with her covered in blood with the collar in stuck in her mouth. i cleaned her up and checked her paws are ok but mouth is swollen. she is eating and drinking doesnt look in pain. i touch her and she is not distant or angry. what can i give her to make her feel better?
