I took a chance on this being that it had mixed reviews and I'm so glad I did. We've always been a fan of chuckit toys and their quality - no toy is perfect and my boxer girl is pretty hard on her toys. I was in search of something new and exciting to keep her entertained when she's inside more during the winter and this toy ended up being everything I hoped for and more. It was a winner right from the start and we've been enjoying watching her chase it around squeak it and playing along with her since it arrived. We haven't had any issues with her chewing it up or destroying it which is rare for any type of toy with my dog and I'm very please with the quality. I'll likely be stocking up on more if they are still in stock to replace in the future when this one has met it's lifespan, but I really don't see that happening any time soon. I can see and understand where others may have had some issues/concerns with the toy, but our experience with it has been nothing but great and I can't recommend it enough. Within 5 mins I already felt as though we got our moneys worth she/we loved it so much and she took a long nap after playing with it the first day which tells me it did it's job of helping to expell all of that boxer energy she has.

My dogs love sliding this around and the squeak is amazing

I bought this toy less than a month ago and my Bellamy LOVES the toy (although she seems to get anxiety from it). She has only played with it a few times, because she gets very anxious with it, but she has managed to grab it in her mouth and pull the rubber from the plastic. She still chases it and slides it all over the carpet but she also attacks it and grabs it in her mouth and when she does that she pulls more and more of the plastic from the rubber. Soon I will have to render it garbage because it will be in 2 parts.

This toy arrived less than an hour ago. We have a 6mo Malinois — she is fascinated by this thing, but is able to grab the top with her teeth, and then flips it over and begins to chew, which scratches the bottom. She will bring it to me to slide, and she will chase it, but will still revert to chewing. I wish it came in a bigger size so she’d not be able to grab on to the softest part to then flip it over. She’s about 40lbs now.

We got this toy for our dog yesterday. Within 20 minutes the base had become unglued from the top, and the squeaker failed. Our dog loved it until it broke.

My dog really enjoyed this toy. She was able to flip over in about 20 minutes of playing with it so she chewed it on the flat side so it doesn't slide as well but she's still playing with it.

My pitty chewed through the slider bottom quickly. Not durable.
