I bought this item 2 seeks ago. Works GREAT, except you can't let it get too cold. I left it in my truck overnight. Temps got down to about zero overnight. Next morning, threw it twice and it snapped in half. I am sure form the cold but it should be tougher than that!

This foldable thrower is great, it’s much easier to transport than a non-foldable one and it throws just as well. It also has a bungee loop to keep it folded. The rubber ball that came with it has a slight whistle that’s perfect for an attentive dog to track it as it flies. Any issues throwing with this are from user-error or using the wrong ball.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have dozens of Chuckit toys for my dog and though a foldable ball thrower would be a good upgrade to my collection to replace the standard, non branded thrower I had. Boy was I wrong. This thing is way too straight and doesn't propel the ball nearly as far as the nonbranded version, plus it launches straight at the ground. My dog likes to both run far, fast, and jump to catch mid air. That is impossible with this. The handle is not ergonomic and hurts the palm of my hand with the force needed to throw (thr old one was effortless and painless). I though the little elastic at the end to keep it folded isn't going to last long at all, as anyone whose ever used a ponytail elastic would know. Overall, highly disappointed and hoping I can somehow wash it and return it after the one use. Going to think hard about any future chuckit brand purchases.

I simply sit on my deck with my drink and launch the ball into my yard so my dog runs to get it.Ots definitely become our new favorite activity to do together.We’ve been using this almost daily and there is barely any wear on it which it’s shocking!If you have a high energy do this is 100% the product for you!!!

I bought this to replace a short Chuckit! launcher that I lost at the dog park. I had purchased a short one so it was more convenient to carry, so when I saw this product I decided to try it instead. It expands easily - unfold and slide the plastic grip so that it locks in place over the hinge. It's very stable. The balls fly far and high, and I'm a lousy throw. My dog is thrilled and I am too.

I purchased the Chuckit! Launch and Fetch for our puppy for Christmas. The weather was nice today so I pulled it out and headed to the yard. She LOVES it. The only two suggestions I have is 1.) some directions on the packaging would be great. 2.) Some form of way to keep the launcher closed when it’s not in use, such as; for storage or transporting. Other than those minor issues it’s a great exercise tool.
