Could you suggest some outdoor games other fetch to exercise as well as entertain Mike?
This is Dexter, my gorgeous 7 year old rescued hound, & his 4 year old ball. He loves his ball & can find it anywhere we hide it in the house or yard. 2nd picture is his new ball. It squeaks like his old ball & smells like bacon. He seemed to like new ball & we played inside for a couple hours off & on. When I took him outside & threw it he ran to the ball sniffed it &walked away. The only ball he brings is the old one. What should I do? Thanx. Carolyn.
When my dog and I try to play fetch he takes his frisbee and digs at it and chews on it and doesn't bring it back. No matter how much I call him and try to get him to come. He digs on top of the frisbee but hes not trying to Barry it, hes just trying to move dirt. I can't break him from this. He fetches with his ball just fine it's just his frisbee. Why does he do this and how can I get him to stop
My small dog ate the rubber from a tennis ball
I am trying to teach my dog to play fetch. He goes and gets the ball but will only give it back when I have a treat for him and even then he will try and get it before I can get to it then he won't give it back. How can I teach him to do it without having to have a treat to trade with him?
What size wire crate does a 15 pound Dachshund need...small or medium?
My Lab has a ball on the left side of his stomach
Our 9 year old lab mix has a limp for a day or two after playing fetch vigorously. Other than an aspirin and keeping him on glucosamine is there anything we can do to help him recover faster and prevent it from happening? Fetch is his favorite game and we don't want stop playing it.
I have a 10 year old black lab who has recently been diagnosed with an enlarged heart. We switched him to cardiac dog food and we're awaiting a second vet visit so we can find the right medicine to put him on. What I want to know is how to exercise him. Fetch is his favourite thing and I don't want to take that away from him. I'm trying not throwing it as far resting briefly between throws. Will this work long term... or short term, even?
Tach a dog to drop what is in his mouth.
I was just playing fetch with my dog outside on a dirt area. It looks like the middle part of his paw pad started peeling off. It doesn’t seem to bother him much, if at all.
My dog LOVES her tennis balls it is all she plays with. But she keeps breaking them and then trys to eat what she break off. How do i go about getting her to not do that? I'm afraid one day I'll be away from home and she breaks one and she chocks. Can't get her to play with any other toy/ball. What do I do?!?!
