Very bright. If your dog likes glow in the dark balls, they will LOVE this. What a great idea and wonderfully crafted. It is a little heavier than other balls the same size but not in a bad way. Definitely a quality toy. This review was written 30 minutes after opening it. I can't yet speak for the durability and longevity of its electronic insides. So far it activates and shuts off as it should. The only downside was the difficulty of unscrewing it to take the battery strip out. It has been around 100 degrees out so I threw it in the freezer and had to use a dime in combination with a screwdriver to get it open. The dime was to more evenly disperse pressure as the plastic reinforcement was trying to bend/dent.

Yes, I recommend this product.
