Good toy

Bought this in place of a plastic frisbee because I was worried about my dog cracking/breaking a tooth. Plus he ended up wanting to chew up the plastic frisbee after fetching it! Probably because it’s a hard toy.. In any event the plastic ones didn’t last long. Bought this as an alternative to alleviate my concerns of breaking teeth when catching. Problem solved! As far as durability is concerned… As long as you keep/teach your dog not to chew it after they catch it, it should last a while. I bought this in August ’23 and my dog finally chewed the edge and severed it! Thought it wasn’t going to fly well after that but it still does to my surprise! He’d already chewed through the fabric like teeth punctures but that was big deal (to be expected) it still flew fine with teeth punctures. And like I said, once he actually severed the outer edge, remarkably it still flies (don’t have a picture to share but looks similar to one that another reviewer posted). Is it durable? Fairly but it depends more on what you allow your pup to do with once they fetch it. My dog doesn’t have access to it unless we’re going to play with it!!! Otherwise, not a chance in hell it would last 4 months… more like 4 minutes, LoL. So yes I would recommend. I’ll be buying several on my next purchase because I have realistic expectation that this won’t last for an extended period of time and would need to be replaced every so often. However, it did outlast the plastic frisbee by far!!! Buy 2 or 3 and don’t let the dog have access to it until y’all play fetch and don’t let them chew it as they’re returning it to you and you should be happy. And it actually flies further than you’d expect. Just don’t think you’re gonna get a 100 yards out of it. More like 30-40 yards max but 20-25 yard repeated retrievals is all most big dogs need to get a good workout. Hope this helped.. Enjoy!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Small size is nice, fabric choice could be better

I had chosen the small version for a puppy to learn how to fetch a disc because this one wouldn’t be big enough to trip him and it has a soft edge, the size is nice & it has held up reasonably well however the fabric could use some improvements: puppy teeth sink right through the coarse weave of the fabric in the center and it gets stuck…makes it difficult to train well when the puppy tries to drop it but it is stuck to his tooth…not ideal. Probably less of an issue with mature dogs as their teeth would be broader and less able to slip into the weave in that manner. The size & weight are perfect.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Lasted 1, 20 minute catch session

Trouble

Do not buy. It won't last. My dog is 11 yrs old and has been catching fabric frisbees for 10.5 of those years. She does not chew and she does not tug. This is the worst toy I have ever used. It looks pretty but after 1 twenty minute play session, about 7 catches, the fabric on the rings starts to pull loose. I talked to other dog owners in our group and some love them, others had the same experience as me. We have had other fabric frisbees last an entire year. It could be a good design but you cut the edge of the fabric too close to the stitch and it just won't last. The company is welcome to discuss this with me.

Fix stitching

I absolutely live this toy for dogs, however the quality of stitching makes this product fall apart in days. I don’t mind buying new toys often but this should last at least a week but in days the stitching comes apart. Great idea and the perfect toy but poor quality sewing makes me really bummed as they never last . I am constantly trying to stitch it back together! Please help by making better stitching!!

My golden retriever loves to fetch the Chuckit frisbee because it’s easy for him to get in his mouth and flies low and even for him to catch after I throw it.

Yes, I recommend this product.
