Didn't see the more natural wood until after I bought this as I'm sick of the grey everything, especially seeing grey hardwood floors in pedestrian homes. It was more work to put together than I thought it would be, difficult to move around, my cat doesn't go in the little hideout box, and the top perch doesn't hold larger, fatter cats very well. However, she loves it. This was her first cat tree and she loves being up high as well as the scratching post. She also won't use that face scratcher thing, but she uses other things in my house.

regarding the Removable Shag Fur Bed I wonder whether I could get a replacement on the Fur Bed…several days ago, after setting the tree , on the same day , the cat tried to climb up the bed but it had difficulty, then the cat broke the fur bed
