I totally agree with a review by Edgar - great fountain, lousy motor. It worked fine for about 3 months - my kitty loved it - but after unplugging it for cleaning, it never worked again. Since I have quite a few of the filters left, I am going to buy another one of this model, but maybe I'll pay attention to the warranty this time.

Excellent fountain for my two orange kitties. My boys have used this fountain for about four years and it has been wonderful. I believe the stainless steel bowl and fountain spout has kept them interested and happy to drink regularly. (It can be used as a bubbler but my boys prefer the spout insert that creates the fountain effect. So happy to have the option though. ) Maintenance has been a breeze with the easy Catit app tracking usage for me. It alerts me when to change the filter or clean the pump. It even has an easy to follow slide show to make sure I do it properly. I would order again and highly recommend others to purchase as well.

I’ve had cart fountains for years. I like the design and have never had issues. Decided to upgrade to this for the steel bowl and to be able to see when the fountain is empty. First off, for this price, I assumed it would have a magnetic base or at least an easier way to clean it without having to drag the cord with it. No way to take the exposed cord out either without taking the pump apart. All their competitors have magnetic bases for ease and they’re cheaper too. Second, the fountain is incredibly inaccurate. It doesn’t tell me if the water refilled and hasn’t aside form maybe two times since I’ve gotten it. Thank god I’ve always checked anyway otherwise my cats would be out of water and I would be none the wiser. Also, as of late, the filter and pump clean resets on the app will reset the the indicators, but now they just stay at 100%. They’ve been that way for over two weeks now. Very disappoint in this product, especially since I’ve loved every other product from them. Save your money for something else because this fountain ain’t it. I give it an average review because the fountain itself is nice and the pump works fine.

Small change in motor design Pump impeller spindle has been unnecessary shortened causing it to only support the impeller on one end instead of both ends like the earlier pumps Causing shortened motor life & noise which necessitates early avoidable replacement of a proprietary OEM pump

My 3 cats Oliver, Ghee-Ghee, & Tikki love this fountain. I have purchased several water fountains in the past and my pick of all of the. Is the Catit Pixie! I brought a beautiful Maine Coon Kitty, (Tikki) into our family. Due to their love for water this fountain works for me. Even though she makes big messes,,I like the top bc it limits her to get inside the bowl often turning other bowls over. I add a few ice cubes in the water during tge hot summer months and they love it even more! The filter is on the op below the water top, and when cleaning the pump its easy. Over the years I have purchased replacement pumps and no issues. I highly recommend their water fountain. The best there is. Thank you very much.

Boy, do our cats love the running water thing…so this product is just great for us! No more turning on bathroom faucets for their pleasure! Love how big the bowl is…it lasts for such a long time and stays really clean! Thanks for a great product that our kitties love and that makes our life easier!

The light blue light that is supposed to stay on and show you the water level stopped working not even 3 months into having the fountain. Have cleaned how I’m supposed to and the pump will stop working but you can still hear it on. This was a very expensive fountain and shouldn’t have to deal with these flaws. Very upset as my three cats were starting to love it.
