My local vet recommends fiber for my cat. I have ground flax seed and wondered if that's a good fiber source
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. I have an 11 year old cat who gets constipated semi often. He’s had to get a procedure done 3 times in a year to remove the “clay like stool.” I was wondering what high fiber non prescription foods were best.
