Right now, I’m using it for my cat who’s been sick and needs a calm, contained space with all her essentials. The extra large size gives her room to move around comfortably without feeling cramped. It helps me give her nebulizer medication because she needs to be contained. I can fit her litter box, food, water, and a cozy bed inside, and still have space for her to stretch out and relax. What makes this crate so convenient are the double doors—one on the front and one on the side and it was simple to put together. That makes it easy to access no matter where I place it, and the latches feel really secure. The pull-out tray on the bottom has also been a huge help with quick cleanups, which I’ve needed more than once. In the future, I plan to use this for when I am ready to get a puppy… or two, which is another reason I went with the largest size. It’s roomy enough to safely house more than one puppy, along with their pads, beds, food bowls, and toys. I also like that it’ll give them a protected area even if I have a larger dog around later on. Even though it’s made with big dogs in mind, I’ve found it super helpful for my current needs—and I know it’s going to continue being useful as my pet situation grows. It’s sturdy, folds flat for easy storage, and feels like something I’ll be glad to have long-term. I would definitely recommend this crate to anyone looking for a safe and well-made dog crate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up, really big kennel, can fit two large dogs.. but we still have 2 kennels set up for them, my problem with it I’m not sure if it got bent but the door has a bow/bend outward.. so I feel like if a dog was able to maybe squeeze its head through it could cause an issue. Otherwise I like the size and quality of the product and would recommend for anyone with large dog breeds!

It is black. My boy didn't want in it yet. We will be getting a puppy soon so this will work great. Carlson pet products are definitely very well made. I would purchase this brand.
