We have two of these for our 40lb blue healer mix and our 65 lb chocolate lab. I love that I can use the sliding d ring as a way to turn the two leashes into a tandem leash to walk both dogs at once with only one hand holding the leash. Great quality and looks snazzy!

Within less than a month the clip on this leash broke. We have a larger dog breed and had high hopes for this leash given the brand. Very disappointed that it broke so quickly.

This leash is awful as it comes unclipped quite frequently. This was purchased as a gift for a large dog and I don't trust it at all. We can just be on a casual walk and it will come undone multiple times. I am very concerned if I keep using it, it will come unclamped at the very wrong time. Very let down by a brand that has been great in the past but not this one!

Bought June 10 for 65 lb 5 y/o brown dog. Came off Weds Nov 1st, attributed to an issue w the harness, kept using. Tonight, Sat Nov 11, clasp outright burst when dog pulled toward squirrel. He's a medium dog. I stand by carhartt workwear, but this leash is garbage. You want your dog loose in the street at night while you hold a leash without a clasp mechanism, pick it up. I walked my dog home by hand. Leash is trash. The jaw mechanism is not the baseline quality it needs to be. Better off with a rope or chain, but this isn't 1990.

Purchase the large nylon duck leash. Loved the look and functionality but clasp that hooks to collar broke.

Sturdy against my Beagle puppy's moderate chewing. Multiple buckle types make transitions from a harness, to a collar, to a seatbelt, etc., more manageable. The Carhartt logo starts to peel off after a while.

Bought both the collar and leash for out 80lb. Shepard Husky mix. Thought because it was a Carhartt product it would be well made and reliable. Last night while walking Bear the clasp on the leash broke and he took off. Very disappointed to say the least.
