Pretty Decent Halter

Usually, I don't buy anything other than rope, leather, and or biothane halters due to the lack of integrity of typical nylon fabric halters and their hardware functionality. Working with young wild horses I need tools that I can trust for the safety and efficiency of my horses in training. This halter is built strong, the hardware is sturdy and rustic looking while the stitching of the nylon and canvas are impeccable. I love the single fixed ring on the bottom for leading and the lack of the throat latch clip is actually what makes this piece safer and more desirable for any hardy work, especially on the ranch. I do wish the holes for the buckle to fit in had properly mounted eyelets for the ultimate integrity of this long-lasting halter. Without any metal eyelets for the strap, they do tend to fray and become more unreliable in the accuracy and strength of the buckle's position. I don't mind the brand name on the noseband since it's not obnoxiously obvious and doesn't seem like it will wear off soon.

I ordered two and they were way too small. For an average horse they need to work on their for size

Looks great

This turned out great. My mare is about 850 lbs, the one I ordered is for 800-1100 lbs, Rode into town today and got quite a few comments. Looks great and seems strong, well made. I added the matching lead rope, 10' that looks great too reminds me of a rattle snake pattern. Would recommend for sure

Great quality halter and I love the extra long lead rope with the leather tassels.

Awesome halter!

Absolutely disagree with the other review. Halters are completely functional without a throat latch clip. Keep it the way it is and expand on colors!!

Needs a throat latch clip, very inconvenient and not functional without.

This halter is small, medium and large but what does that equate to?  Pony, Cob, Horse, etc?
