Thank you for your question. ​Our carefresh bedding is manufactured to be 99% dust free, but some dust may be present as a result of using natural fibers to make the paper for the bedding. If you experience that your bedding has a high level of dust, please contact us.

Thank you for your great question. Yes, carefresh bedding is safe for all small pets including chinchillas to use in their litter box or as bedding as long as your chinchilla does not eat it. It's great at absorbing liquid, soft on their tender feet to prevent bumblefoot and prevents odors. However, it is VERY important to monitor your chinchilla very closely to make sure they do not eat too much of it which may cause impaction.

Not in small amounts. I would try to train and direct your rabbit from ingesting it. 

The bags I bought had tons of sticks in them.

As with any changes, however, be sure to monitor your pet closely when changing to a new bedding to make sure they do not eat the bedding, causing impaction.

it should be fine, it's just paper. It can be dusty, when you first open the bag. You know more about parakeets lungs than I do.
