Love it. Very used for to have for my ferret's cage

Carefresh advertises as virtually dust and allergen free, this is misleading. If you have ever bought carefresh and noticed lots of particles, that is because their dust-free claim does not include all particles like lint. When dust becomes airborne it poses a risk to rodents as they have sensitive respiratory systems, and overtime exposure can lead to serious health problems. Lint is less likely to become airborne than dust due to particle size, but it can still easily become airborne and inhaled by small animals and lead to similar respiratory issues as dust. Although lint usually settles on the sides if you think hamsters/gerbils will be constantly digging throwing these particles back up into the air. My hamster was constantly sneezing when she came out of her burrows and eventually developed a respiratory infection and was on antibiotics, they are not completely transparent about the cleanliness of the environment their bedding provides. Therefore I’m writing this review to hopefully be transparent where the company cannot. I’m speaking as someone who has purchased this bedding over 7 months, I have an idea of the general quality.

My hamster, who does not like to be disturbed, especially likes this Carefresh product. The bedding stays fresh for a long time between cleanings. You can hand pick out the wet spots easily. The price is very good for the amount that you receive.

Carefresh Natural is a clean product at a very good price point compared to other beddings The quality of this bedding is consistently dust free with no debris mixed in. The odor control works well for my hamster and my gerbil who really likes to dig. A good amount of bedding for the price and it lasts.
