The Cardinal Tetra has a bright neon blue stripe on top and a vibrant red stripe on the bottom, both running the length of the body. These Tetras are best kept in schools of 6 or more. While many Cardinal Tetras in the hobby today are wild caught from South American rivers, our Cardinal Tetras are captive bred in Sri Lanka.
